The Fall formal dance will be on November 7th from 8-10pm at Shoshone golf course for students in grades 9-12th. Tickets will be sold at lunch starting November 2nd. Out of district forms are due November 4th, no exceptions.
Activity cards are in. Trade in your temporary card at Mrs. House’s window at break or lunch.
All students need to make sure they are checking in with their teachers before they go anywhere else each period. The office will not track you down any longer and you will be marked absent.

We have some great news to share. For the first seven weeks of the school year, our 11th grade class has received zero detention slips. Not one! That is an incredible accomplishment, and it shows real responsibility, respect, and leadership. To celebrate, the Juniors will receive a prize from the office staff, plus 10 extra minutes of lunch tomorrow, Thursday, at the start of lunch! Way to go, Juniors! Keep up the great work!

Congratulations to the WJSHS Student Council on being awarded the Outstanding Student Council Award for the 2025-26 school year. This is their 4th consecutive year being recognized by the Idaho Association of Student Councils. Way to go Miners!
This year our library will once again be participating in the Idaho Teen Reading Challenge. The challenge is to read 8 books in 10 different categories from October through April. Everyone who completes at least one book will earn an entry to the monthly prize drawing for a 1910 gift card. Students that complete 8 books for the entire year will earn a t-shirt.
