Advanced Opportunities at Wallace Frequently Asked Questions
All dual credit courses must be approved by Wallace Jr./Sr. High School before they will be transcribed on high school transcripts. Students must have at least a 3.0 GPA and sign and return the registration packet (packets are available from Mrs. Bauer in the library.)

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Federal Student Aid plays an essential role in postsecondary education by providing money for college for eligible students and families.

October 1st: first day to submit your FAFSA

Grants vs. Loans: grants do NOT have to be re-paid, but loans DO

In "Financial Aid Package", loans are often listed with grants that you are eligible for--read through this section carefully

Pell Grants are only issued to students who meet qualifications and submit a complete FAFSA by the deadline

FAFSA offers other supplemental grants on a first-come, first-served basis. You must meet criteria and be one of the first applications received after October 1st
