Mrs. Murray’s science class recently spent the day at Sunshine Mine, exploring the intersection of industry and environmental science. The group toured the active operations and got an up-close look at mining in the Silver Valley.
So proud of these students for their great questions and even better energy. There’s nothing quite like seeing science applied in our own backyard! 🧪✨#wallaceminers #minerpride

To community members,
It is tradition at Wallace Jr./Sr. High School for the seniors to give back to their school upon graduating. This year, the class of 2026 wishes to pay back some of the lunch debt that has accumulated within the Wallace School District with an emphasis on the Elementary School. The Wallace School District supports students in every way possible and the class of 2026 wishes to show our gratitude by alleviating some of the financial burden that is a result of accumulated lunch debt. As a class, we have seen first hand how our school district not only supports students but family and community as well. This is why we are reaching out to give others the opportunity to make a difference within our school district. If you do feel inclined to donate and add to the sum that will be used to pay off some of this debt, you may mail or drop off a check to Wallace High School on or before May 29th, 2026. All checks should be written out to Wallace High School; and if chosen, mailed to 1 Miners Aly Wallace, ID 83873. We all thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Wallace High School Class of 2026
